Tasneem Salam

Owner and director of Tasneem Gallery.
Born in Bangladesh and raised in London, she has lived and worked in many parts of the world including Indonesia and Hong Kong. She is a member of the International Art Collectors Forum of the Contemporary Art Society, an organisation based in London. To complete her academic formation in art, she has undertaken a number of courses including at Sotheby's Institute of Art.
Tasneem has a Master of Science from the London School of Economics and is also an international development consultant, specialising in social and economic development. In this capacity she works on behalf of well-known agencies such as European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Asian Development Bank and the World Bank as well as the private sector.

Ingrid Blanco

Strategic and artistic adviser of Tasneem Gallery. Born in Havana, Cuba, she has a BA in Art History from the University of Havana. She coordinated and organised the Theory and Criticism Conference at the 7th Havana Biennale. Ingrid worked as assistant curator at the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art in Gateshead, England, and at the 3rd Biennial of Berlin under the direction of Ute Meta Bauer. She has recently completed the Independent Studies Programme (PEI) at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona (MACBA). Prior to joining Tasneem Gallery she worked as an independent curator and art critic.

Michel Gelinas

Michel Gelinas, born in Quebec, Canada, is a graduate in Computer Studies from South Bank University in London. Before moving to Barcelona he lived in London for twenty years, managing intranet development and web sites for several organisations as well as for individual artists. Michel has been connected to the world of arts for many years both as a professional and in his spare time.
